Deree Invitational
The Deree Invitational is a biannual British parliamentary style debating tournament hosted by the Deree Debate Club. Participants are welcomed from a wide range of national high schools, universities, colleges, and university alumni.

The tournament is a two day event hosted once a semester by Deree Students. Participants are welcomed to the Deree campus on Friday evening to register and attend the opening ceremony that marks the official beginning of the tournament. A total of 5 preliminary rounds are held with 8 teams breaking to the semi-finals. The first three rounds are open for adjudication enabling the judges to give feedback to the debaters after each round. This time allows judges to explain their decision and advise speakers on how they can ameliorate their speeches in order to provide a great educational experience to all debaters.
The rules followed are British Parliamentary and can be found here.
